Foreign sailors rescued in Ba Ria-Vung Tau waters

The Vietnam Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Zone 3 on January 13 saved two foreign sailors who met an accident in the waters off the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Zhang Li Jin from China and Tun Tun Oo, a Myanmar national, were aboard the Panama-flag WISE SW ship carrying paper powder en route from Singapore to China when they met the accident during working and had their head and arms injured.

Earlier on January 12, the centre received information of the case from Hoyer Transport Vietnam Company.

The centre immediately sent the SAR 272 rescue vessel to the site to provide health care for the sailors, who were hospitalized then.
