Dr. ANH spores probiotics, a world biotech breakthrough

Dr. ANH spores probiotics researched and developed by Dr. Nguyen Hoa Anh is the world’s first and only spores probiotics technology in liquid form.

After 15 years of studying and working in molecular biology at Tohoku University, Japan, Dr. Nguyen Hoa Anh returned to Vietnam in 2010. He worked at the Key Laboratory of Enzyme and Protein Technology (KLEPT), University of Science under Vietnam National University-Hanoi.

A chance came to him in mid-2010 when he met a British professor from Royal Holloway, University of London, who was looking for cooperation on probiotic products for human use.

After 15 years of working in the fields of microbiology and molecular biology, Anh managed to formulate two types of spores probiotics on an industrial scale. He signed contracts to launch the products in the market within two months of the research.

His products immediately became a “phenomenon” when introduced at a seminar on probiotics in London. Dr. ANH Spores Probiotics Technology, in liquid form, multi-trains, and high concentration is a breakthrough invention in biotechnology.

“Up to 95% of probiotic products are produced in the form of cereal powder or capsules. These are the most common and convenient forms of probiotic supplements,” Hoa said.

“The dry form requires a long time for the friendly bacteria to be absorbed while most probiotics cannot survive in the acidic gastric environment of the stomach before reaching, developing and improving the intestine system.”

“The good bacteria need to be living in order to benefit patients, or they’re a waste of money and useless,” he said.

“That’s why spores probiotics are now considered an effective solution as they are covered by a naturally protective shell that safeguards the cell through the digestive tract,” he added.

Dr. Anh’s technology has been applied widely to develop products to improve the digestive system at Anabio Research & Development, the only manufacturer of strains probiotics which are physical-resistant, time-resistant, heat-resistant, and acid-resistant. The scientific research quality of the products is supervised by KLEPT.

Anabio’s products, which are distributed by LiveSpo Global, are well received in the market. They include LiveSpo PREG-MOM - spores of probiotics for pregnant women and children; LiveSpo COLON - spores of probiotics for people with colitis and inflammatory bowel disease.

Anabio’s products are manufactured according to the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standard. Their quality has been certified by the Food and Drug Administration to be eligible for import into the US.

Anbio’s products are being exported to more than 20 countries, including Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Greece. LiveSpo Global is the only distributor of Dr. ANH spores probiotic technology in the global market.
