Visiting Ninh Binh’s Phat Diem diocese and Nam Dinh’s Bui Chu diocese, Lam affirmed that the Catholic community has contributed remarkably to the country’s socio-economic achievements, especially to the building of new-style rural areas and poverty reduction.
He affirmed that the Party and State have consistently respected and ensured the right to religion and belief freedom of all people and satisfied the legitimate needs of religious organisations and followers.
