Children’s Day 2019 to promote Thai art, culture

The Ministry of Culture of Thailand will organise activities promoting Thai art and culture to mark the annual Children’s Day.

Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat disclosed that the Ministry of Culture has collaborated with other government agencies to organize the Children’s Day event on January 12th, 2019.

Cultural performances will be held at Government House and other activities will take place at the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, and the Thailand Cultural Center in Bangkok.

The Director-General of the Department of Fine Arts, Anan Chuchote, said national museums, historical parks, and national libraries nationwide will also display antiques and artifacts from prehistoric archaeological sites.
