Beauty of Vietnam and China through Photos

A photo exhibition titled “Beautiful Vietnam-Beautiful China” recently held at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi displayed exhibited 81 photos featuring the cultural values and the beauty of nature, land and people of the two countries.
The event co-organised by the Vietnam News Agency’s Vietnam Pictorial and China Pictorial aims to strengthen the traditional friendship, deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China, and contribute to promoting peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and around the world.

The photos on five themes depict the beautiful nature of Vietnam and China, the culture and people, the two countries’ long-standing relationship, their modernity in the new era and China’s Silk Road.
According to the organising board, the exhibition drew much attention from the public and contributed to strengthening mutual understandings between the two countries.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, VNA Deputy Director Nguyen Hoai Duong said the two news agencies have always supported each other in their works to uphold the bilateral relations. The exhibition is proof of the effective cooperation between Vietnam Pictorial and China Pictorial.

Hanoi - the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam – is the country’s political and cultural centre. With its history
and beautiful scenery, Hanoi  deserves the name "The land of a thousand year-old culture"..
Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam, is the centre of economics, culture, science,
tourism and international trade.
The Tay Ninh Cao Dai Temple or the Great Temple - Holy See is the centre of Caodaism. It is one of
the most magnificent religious structures in southern Vietnam, 80km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City.
Dinh So commune house in So village, Cong Hoa commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi, has a history of more than
350 years. The commune house Dinh So was built in the ancient architectural style on a total area of about 1,100m2. .


Nha Nhac Cung Dinh (Hue royal Court Music) came from the Ho dynasty in Vietnam. In 2003,
the art was recognised as a masterpiece of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
Da Nang is a seaport city in Central Vietnam and it is the third largest city in the country. It is the place
where APEC Economic Leaders’ Week was held.
Hue is a city in Thua Thien-Hue province, Vietnam. It was the capital of the Nguyen dynasty for 143 years,
from 1802 to 1945. In 1993, the complex of the imperial city of Hue was recognised by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage.
With its unique architecture, Bitexco Financial Tower in Ho Chi Minh City has become a tourist attraction.
Built in the shape of a blossoming lotus flower, the tower symbolises Ho Chi Minh City’s prosperity.
 Agriculture plays an important role in Vietnam. At present, Vietnam is on the way to
build new rural areas in a modern direction.
With the theme of protecting the world's rare birds, "Co lua" (Ixobrychus sinensis), China's dancing drama which
is considered the oriental “Swan Lake” highlights the peace-loving spirit of people.
Shanghai is not only China’s economic centre but also a global financial centre. It is one of the cities
with the largest population and area in the world.
Wulingyuan Scenic Area is located in Zhangjiajie city, Hunan province, China. Wulingyuan Scenic Area has a peculiar natural landscape, which features original sandstone, dense forests, and deep ravines. It was recognised by
UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage in 1992. 


The Beipanjiang Bridge, the world's highest bridge opened for traffic on September 10, 2016.

The Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Beijing and Shenyang was recognised by UNESCO as a World Culture Heritage in 1987.
