Art programme honours patriotism, Vietnamese heroic mothers

An art programme was held in Hanoi on January 6 with a view to promoting the patriotism and the gratitude to Vietnamese heroic mothers.

President Tran Dai Quang and Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue were present at the event.

The programme is part of the activities to welcome the new year 2018 and celebrate the 88th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930).

It was divided into three parts titled “Dat nuoc loi ru” (Country’s Lullaby), “Nguoi me Viet Nam” (Vietnamese Mother), and “Mua xuan tren que huong” (Homeland Spring).

The event was broadcast live on VTC1 channel and the website of the National Times www.toquoc.vn and VTC News www.vtc.com.vn and the website for overseas Vietnamese http://tvnet.gov.vn.

A similar programme was held in 2017 with the participation of famous artists and singers nationwide, drawing hundreds of thousands of views from the audience.
