Strength of Phong Phu Corporation

With diverse and high quality products, Phong Phu Corporation has become a partner of many domestic and foreign companies. It now provides garment and textile products for some famous international fashion labels of Express, Buckle and Mango.
The company was formerly a small-scale enterprise with three yarn - weaving-dying workshops under the Sicovina-Phong Phu Industrial Area, the Vietnam Cotton  Industrial Company. The company name changed to Phong Phu Textile Company after April 30, 1975 and specialised in producing  yarn and cloth for labour protection products.

During the 1986-2002 period, the company had a focus on upgrading technology and increasing productivity that helped it reach all its targets, becoming the leading unit of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex). Besides traditional products of yarn and cloth, the company developed new products such as towels, denim and stripe cloth and cooperated with Coats Group from the UK to produce garment thread.

To further promote production and further improve the quality of products, the company invested in building eight factories equipped with the most advanced automatic fabric spinning line in Southeast Asia and a professional management system  in an area of 15ha in Tang Nhon Phu B, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

Over the years, the company’s high-quality products brand named Mollis, Mollis Extra and Mollis Eco have been the favourites in the domestic market thanks to its anti-UV and antibacterial properties which are good for customers’ health. About 500 tons of each type of these products are produced a month to meet the increasing demand of customers.  The company’s denim always leads in Vietnam as it is produced with a close-contained and advanced technology line, from spinning and weaving to dyeing. Its cloth products  alone account for 40% of the market share.

It has also developed fashion labels, such as Style, Tyracop and IZ and now is the provider of prestigious products for famous labels such as Express, Buckle and Mango.

The company reached a total revenue of  over 7,000 billion dong in 2014 and is targeted to reach one billion dollars by 2020. In its development strategy, it will expand investment,  train a staff of professional employees and improve  competiveness and  post-sale services to become a powerful economic group in Vietnam.
