The fifth annual international kite festival wrapped up in the southern province of Ba Ria –Vung Tau on May 11, with eye-catching kite flying displays leaving a deep impression on visitors.
Up to 135 artisans, with 65 hailing from overseas, participated in the three-day festival themed “Flying Vietnam”.
Tens of thousands of visitors and locals gathered at Vung Tau Intourco Resort, the venue of the event, to enjoy the spectacle.
Throughout the session, the Vietnamese delegation participated actively, constructively, and responsibly in consultations on all 38 resolutions while advancing two notable initiatives. Vietnam delivered a joint statement on gender equality in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), co-sponsored by 67 countries, and co-hosted a side event with the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Thailand addressing human rights impacts of online scams.
