The Vietnam Fatherland Front furthers the country's development

During the renewal process, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has promoted the great strength of the great national unity bloc; actively mobilizing people to promote the spirit of proactive creativity, overcome all difficulties and challenges and actively participate in building the Party and government.

After national reunification, in February 1977, the Vietnam National United Front (VNUF) decided to merge the three organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the National Liberation Front for South Vietnam and the Alliance of National, Democratic and Peace Forces of Vietnam, into a common agency called Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF).
Vietnam Fatherland Front is a political coalition organization, a voluntary union of political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations and individuals representing all classes, social strata, ethnic groups, religions and overseas Vietnamese.

Since then, the VFF has been the gathering place for all people to build a rule-of-law state with movements such as, poverty reduction and gratitude repayment, “All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas”, the campaign "Day for the poor", the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor so that no one is left behind" and the campaign "Vietnamese prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
