Webinar on East Sea to take place in late September

 A webinar themed “Science Diplomacy: A Crucible for Turning the Tide in the South China Sea” will be held by the US-based East West Centre on September 30 via Zoom platform.

The centre announced on its website that the event is part of a series of webinars on Indo-Pacific organised by the centre.

It will include two sessions, focusing on marine challenges in the South China Sea (East Sea) under science perspectives, and tools and technologies, and science cooperation opportunities in the sea.

The event is expected to bring together reputable scholars, researchers, and experts from research centres and universities of the US, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines and Taiwan (China).
