US-DPRK Summit 2019: Trump-Kim meetings wrap up earlier than expected

The schedule for the second day of meetings between US President Donald Trump and leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un in Hanoi on February 28 would wrap up earlier than expected.

The information was released by White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, who added that Trump would return to his hotel soon.

She said Trump’s press conference, originally scheduled for 4 p.m, will now take place at 2 p.m.

The two leaders were also scheduled to participate in a ceremony to sign a joint agreement. Sanders declined to say whether that ceremony would still happen, but it appears unlikely.

They were originally supposed to hold a working lunch that appears to have been cancelled.
