Experts have given positive feedbacks on the initiative to establish diplomatic liaison offices in the US and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), which was raised at the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam between US President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong-un in Hanoi on February 28.

Ankit Panda, an editor at The Diplomat, described it as a specific and timely move to change the bilateral relations in a positive manner.
