Ly Hoang Nam comes second at India F3 Futures

Vietnamese player Ly Hoang Nam finished second in the men’s singles of the India F3 Futures tennis tournament, which concluded in India’s Chandigarh city on March 17.

The player lost 3-6, 4-6 in the final to the host’s Prajnesh Gunneswaran, who ranked 235 in the world.

Earlier, he defeated Spanish player Boluda Purkiss, the No.2 seed 6-4, 6-2, in the semi-final on March 16.

Nam, the tournament’s No.3 seed and world No.475, is expected to improve his Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP)’s men’s singles rankings after the tournament.
