Legislature to focus on law building in second working week

Law building will be high on the agenda during the second online working week of the 14th National Assembly’s ninth session from May 25-28.

The legislature will listen to the presentation of the draft revised Law on Enviromental Protection and discuss the draft Law on Mediation, Dialogue at Courts, the amended Youth Law, the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Organisation of the National Assembly, the revised Law on Investment, the Law on Public-Private Partnership, and the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Law on Dykes.

On May 27, the lawmakers will debate a report on the enforcement of policies and laws on child abuse prevention and control by the NA’s supervision delegation, which will be live televised nationwide.

They will also listen to a proposal and an examination report on the national target programme on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous regions for the 2021-2030 period, a proposal seeking the NA’s approval of the State budget balance in 2018, a report on State budget balance audit in 2018, a report examining the State budget balance in 2018.

The NA deputies are also due to discuss the draft Resolution on agriculture land use tax exemption.
