Hanoi in the eyes of foreign reporters

Since Hanoi was chosen to host the DPRK - USA summit, there are nearly 3,000 foreign journalists in Hanoi reporting on the summit. For many of them, Hanoi is the ideal destination for international events.

Of the nearly 3,000 foreign journalists registered to report on the DPRK - USA summit event, many of them haven’t been to Vietnam. Although the work is very busy, Hanoi has given them a great impression, an image of a green, peaceful and beautiful city.

Hanoi’s streets are bustling, with flags, flowers and posters on every corner. Hanoi and its citizens are putting their best efforts to show off its distinctive beauty to foreign reporters.

Vietnam, IAEA comprehensively assess national nuclear power infrastructure

The delegation, led by Eric Mathet, Operational Lead, the IAEA’s Nuclear Infrastructure Development Section, evaluated the current status of Vietnam’s national nuclear infrastructure according to the assessment criteria outlined by the IAEA for Stage 2 – assessing the readiness of a country to invite bids or negotiate contracts for the construction of its first nuclear power plant.
