The “Moving Forward with Vietnam” walking event opened in Hanoi on the morning of August 30 under the theme “A Journey of 10 Billion Green Steps – For a Sustainable Vietnam.”

The event drew a large number of participants and was held to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2026) and the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945–2026).

People across the country also joined the walking event, contributing to a nationwide celebration and promoting a message of unity, healthy living and sustainable development.
