The showdown between Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks of Japan and Martarello Group S.L.R of Italy on June 13 was widely regarded as an early “final” of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, as two of the competition’s strongest teams faced off on the banks of the Han River. Despite a light drizzle, thousands of spectators filled the riverside venue to witness a dazzling display of artistry and innovation.

Under the theme “Culture,” the Japanese team captivated the audience with a graceful performance inspired by traditional aesthetics, blending vibrant colors and carefully synchronized music. Meanwhile, the Italian team delivered a bold and energetic show, combining advanced pyrotechnic techniques with a dramatic soundtrack that reflected the richness of European culture.

The rainy weather did little to dampen the festive atmosphere. Instead, the sparkling fireworks illuminating the misty night sky created an even more magical scene, leaving spectators with one of the most memorable nights of DIFF 2026.
