Hanoi: Folk Cultural Activities Highlight Mid-Autumn Festival 2026

The “Mid-Autumn Festival 2026: Colors of Cultural Heritage” programme takes place on September 19-20 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi, featuring a range of traditional cultural performances and hands-on activities for children and families.

The programme showcases lion and dragon dances, xẩm singing and water puppetry, along with traditional toy-making activities and folk games. These activities help bring cultural heritage closer to younger generations, fostering love for and pride in traditional values while raising awareness of the importance of preserving them.
