International arrivals to the country reached more than 5.25 million during the period, up 29.6 percent year on year, while tourist attractions across the country welcomed 34.2 million domestic visitors.
The country received some 973,000 foreign travellers in May, down 9.2 percent from April and up 26.8 percent year on year. Most of them came from China (up 55.5 percent), the Republic of Korea (up 140.9 percent), Taiwan (up 22.6 percent), and Russia (up 52.8 percent).
