This is a socialisation programme launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, funding 50 million VND for each new house and 15 million VND for each repaired house.
From February 17 to April 17, Dien Bien’s Border Guard Command helped the targeted households build 60 new homes and repair five ones.
The hand-over of the houses for underprivileged residents in Chung Chai commune is expected to help them soon stabilise their lives and contribute to boosting socio-economic development and ensuring defence-security in the locality./
