Tien Vien clean chicken eggs

Tien Vien Joint-stock Company has been marked by Hanoi's agriculture sector as a successfully bright spot in transforming the agricultural economic structure. The company has recently been supplying its main products including commercial eggs, broiler chickens, and chickens for breeding to the market in Hanoi and neighboring provinces during the social distancing period.
During the days of the pandemic, laborers entering the chicken farm had to go through the disinfection room, remove their shoes and boots, and cover their whole bodies with protective clothing. The eggs coming out of the oven also had to go through an inspection process using imported technological equipment. For example, eggs were sorted and cleaned with ozone aeration water and ozone gas on harvest day. They then were dried and packed. Information like the packing date and the shelf life of products was fully listed on the boxes. Afterward, the eggs were taken to supermarkets, restaurants and food processing enterprises.

In recent years, Tien Vien Join-stock Company has created a closed chain for over 30 livestock farms in Chuong My district by bridging the livestock with product consumption. Standardizing the breeding process throughout the chain helps to ensure product quality and uniformity. The infrastructure of the egg processing and packaging area has
been completed. The production capacity is 200,000 eggs per day. Its products fully meet the requirements of veterinary hygiene and food safety. Monthly, Tien Vien Join-stock Company supplies to the market more than 2,000,000 eggs and over 2 tons of chicken meat through about 100 partners that are companies, supermarkets, restaurants inside and outside Hanoi.

According to Nguyen Van Chi, the Director of the Hanoi Rural Development Sub-Department, Tien Vien chicken egg products met food safety requirements. The product’s full packaging and labels helped to identify the brand and origin according to regulations. That in turn created favorable conditions for authorities in controlling product quality in the market.

As a consumer, Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc from La Khe ward (Ha Dong district) said that the current price of Tien Vien chicken eggs was about 5% higher than that of eggs sold in traditional markets. Still, she kept buying them because they were clean and delicious. She also felt assured of the quality since the QR code could help her trace the origin of those eggs while necessary information like the expiration date was present.

According to Nguyen Ngoc Son, the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Hanoi must keep raising the effectiveness of the agricultural product chains in general and the Tien Vien chicken egg chain in particular. Hanoi’s agriculture sector would then continue to advise the city on policies to support chains in branding, connecting with enterprises in the stage of selling products, promoting trade together with the image of clean and safe products to a large number of domestic and foreign consumers.
