Addressing the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underscored the fair’s role as an effective instrument for stimulating domestic consumption, one of Vietnam’s key growth drivers. More than a conventional trade promotion event, he noted, the fair reflected the expanding reach and global ambitions of Vietnamese goods and brands.

Over nearly two weeks, the inaugural edition evolved into a vibrant platform linking producers, distributors, and consumers nationwide. It also became a space of cultural convergence, where distinctive traditions from the North, Central, and South were brought together, highlighting the diversity and vitality of Vietnam’s regional identities.

The fair welcomed approximately 600,000 visitors and featured more than 3,000 booths showcasing tens of thousands of products from across the country. Alongside commercial transactions and partnership agreements, the event offered an engaging cultural environment that blended folk heritage with modern presentation. Visitors experienced regional specialties, traditional crafts, culinary offerings, and interactive activities that evoked the warmth of Tet and the optimism of spring.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the fair had gone beyond the scope of a typical trade exhibition to serve as a symbolic “opening drumbeat” for a year of renewed momentum. It strengthened supply–demand linkages, deepened business-to-business cooperation, and accelerated e-commerce exchanges on digital platforms. Its success, he stressed, demonstrated not only tangible economic outcomes but also Vietnam’s internal resilience, unity, and aspiration for self-reliant growth.

Commending ministries, local authorities, and the business community for their coordinated and responsible efforts, the Prime Minister called on enterprises to remain at the forefront of science and technology, innovation, digitalization, and green transformation. He urged businesses to uphold ethical standards and take a firm stance against counterfeit and substandard goods.

For international partners, he reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to fostering a transparent, equitable, and business-friendly environment, while encouraging deeper cooperation in high-quality investment, core technologies, and sustainable management practices.

Concluding the ceremony, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that future national trade fairs would advance in six key dimensions: greater scale, higher stature, deeper connectivity, more professional organization, broader impact, and enhanced public benefit, further strengthening consumer confidence and reinforcing Vietnamese products as a preferred choice both at home and abroad.
