NA Vice Chairman meets senior DPRK official

Pyongyang, July 9 (VNA) – National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son met President of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Pyongsang on July 9, saying his visit aims to tighten friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two legislatures and peoples on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

He conveyed his wish that the DPRK, under the leadership of the Workers’ Party led by Kim Jong-un, would harvest more successes on the way toward national construction and development.

Kim spoke highly of the long-standing friendly cooperation between the two nations founded and nurtured by late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Kim Il-Sung.

He conveyed his regards to Vietnamese Party and State leaders and hoped the Vietnamese people would likewise reap further achievements during their national development.
