On February 9, the Vietnamese Association in Ufa, Russia, held a Lunar New Year celebration at the city’s Central Cultural House, welcoming the Year of the Horse with members of the local community. The event was not only an opportunity to mark the arrival of spring but also helped introduce an important Vietnamese cultural tradition to the wider host society.
