The Night Market of Long Bien

The Long Bien Market (in Hanoi) has just been selected as one of the seven most unique flea markets in the world by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine of the US.

It is one of the largest wholesale markets in Hanoi selling agricultural products and fruits from localities nationwide. The market is open all night and only becomes busiest from 10pm to 5am the next day.

Located at the foot of the historical bridge of Long Bien, the market seems to be a small society with many features, colours and sounds.

The land of Suoi Giang in Lao Cai province is blessed by nature with towering, ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees that have stood the test of time. More than just an agricultural crop, Shan Tuyet tea has become a lifeblood, a cultural and economic symbol closely tied to generations of the H’mong ethnic people.
