Delivering the opening speech, Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre (AgriTrade), emphasized: "In the context of increasingly deep global integration and complex climate change, the agriculture and environment sector continues to be a 'pillar' of the national economy. Moreover, it is strongly rising, asserting Vietnam’s national position on the international stage, and becoming one of the pioneering fields in green and sustainable development".
Vietnam is currently among the world's leading exporters of agricultural products across many key items, such as rice, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, fruits, vegetables, seafood, and timber products. Vietnam's agricultural exports have reached over 200 countries and territories. In the first 10 months of 2025 alone, the export value of agriculture, forestry, and fishery products reached 58.13 billion US dollars, an increase of nearly 13% compared to the same period last year. The total value is expected to reach 70 billion US dollars for the entire year - the highest level ever recorded.
Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre (under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), speaks at the Opening Ceremony.
Nguyen Minh Tien stated that AgroViet 2025 is one of the activities aimed at expanding export markets, boosting domestic consumption of agricultural products, connecting supply and demand, promoting brand awareness, and enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products within the global value chain. With the theme “Quintessence of Tradition – Global Integration,” AgroViet 2025 features nearly 250 specially designed and decorated booths, introducing, exhibiting, and offering hands-on experience with diverse and rich agricultural products.
The fair brings together over 100 domestic and international units, including businesses, cooperatives, production facilities, and representatives from 23 cities and provinces across the country (such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Can Tho, Hue, Dong Thap, Son La, and Lao Cai), alongside international organizations and businesses from Japan, South Korea, Australia, and China.
The booths showcase various key export groups of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, OCOP products rated 3-stars and above, regional specialties, fine handicrafts, organic and environmentally friendly products, as well as modern machinery, equipment, and agricultural supplies used for production and post-harvest processing. Within the framework of the fair, the Organizing Committee, in coordination with domestic and international partners, is hosting numerous conferences, workshops, international trade exchanges, an e-commerce application promotion space for agricultural products, and a regional culinary experience area, directly connecting producers, businesses, and consumers.

This includes instructing businesses, cooperatives, and OCOP proprietors on how to open e-commerce channels and apply digital technology in product consumption, significantly contributing to the strong integration of Vietnamese agricultural products into the digital economy.
The AgroViet 2025 International Agriculture Trade Fair will run until the end of November 16./.
