Final preparations are being made at the International Media Center to serve thousands of local and foreign reporters who cover the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit slated for February 27-28 in Hanoi.
The Friendship Cultural Palace at No. 91, Tran Hung Dao street, Hoan Kiem district, is selected as the International Media Center (IMC) for the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam.
VNPT and Viettel provide internet connection for the IMC during the event. Facilities and equipment are being installed to provide the best transmission lines for thousands of journalists. IMC is also where to provide signals of Vietnam Television (VTV) for those reporting the event.
IMC has a common working space as well as private booths to serve media agencies.
The center will open from February 25 to March 1.
Vietnam had earlier operated successfully international media centers to serve international events, including APEC 2017 in Danang.
