Fishing Season for Anchovies in Phuoc The

The fishermen's faces show their joy and excitement when receiving each boat filled with heavy fish baskets. Each boat can catch 120-250 baskets of anchovies, worth about 120-250 million dong (5,000 - 10,000 US dollars). After two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, the bumper fishing season not only brings happiness to the fishermen, but also helps merchants and workers on the shore get more income.
