Dien Bien’s Mountain Passes in Ban flowers Blooming Season

In March, when the weather in northwestern Vietnam is at its most beautiful, ban (bauhinia) flowers bloom simultaneously, covering the mountain slopes and mountain passes in Dien Bien with a pristine, gentle beauty. On treacherous mountain passes like Pha Din and Tang Quai, the bauhinia flowers bloom brilliantly, blending with the green of the forest, the red of the kapok flowers, and the traditional houses of the highlands, painting a characteristic spring scene of the Northwest region. The beauty of the bauhinia flowers makes the winding, treacherous mountain passes softer and more romantic.
