Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day

Hanoi recently celebrated the 60th anniversary of the capital’s liberation day with a series of cultural events. It was the time for people in the whole country to recall the glorious history of the cause of defending and building Hanoi to become “more prosperous and beautiful”, worthy to be the capital of the country which is striving to be equal to powerful countries in the five continents as was late President Ho Chi Minh’s desire.

For over 60 years, Hanoi has obtained great success, making a great contribution to national construction and defence. It is believed that Hanoi in the future will further develop into a modern, prosperous and civilized capital.
