Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2026 Kicks Off

The second Thang Long-Hanoi Festival kicked off at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi on September 11, bringing together a wide range of cultural activities celebrating the capital’s rich heritage. Held by the Hanoi People’s Committee under the theme “Heritage Flow,” the festival highlights Hanoi’s cultural identity while promoting its heritage and creative industries.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc, along with representatives from central and municipal agencies, cultural organizations, artists and visitors.

 

The festival features exhibitions, art performances, traditional cultural activities and programs showcasing Hanoi’s historical and cultural values. It also provides a platform for artists, cultural practitioners and businesses to exchange ideas and promote creative products inspired by the capital’s heritage.

 

Running through September 15, the festival is expected to attract both domestic and international visitors, contributing to the promotion of Hanoi as a vibrant cultural and creative city.
