With more than 150km of coastline, the Phu Quoc special zone in An Giang province boasts white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and distinctive tropical scenery, including internationally recognized Kem and Sao beaches. With these natural advantages, the island is modernizing its accommodation, resort, leisure and entertainment facilities in preparation for major international events.

Visitors to Phu Quoc can enjoy a wide range of activities, from snorkeling, surfing and islandhopping, to exploring local food. Sunset Town is a highlight which combines distinctive architecture, entertainment, and spectacular ocean sunsets, while Kiss Bridge is a new iconic landmark of Phu Quoc’s tourism.

An Thoi and Hon Thom are other attractions in Phu Quoc. The largest island in the An Thoi archipelago, Hon Thom offers diverse leisure, entertainment and resort experiences. The 7,900-m sea-crossing cable car provides a panoramic view of the surrounding islands and sea, while entertainment complexes host leisure and water activities.

Phu Quoc is gaining international recognition, winning 5 categories at the 2025 World Travel Awards, including the title of World’s Leading Natural Island Destination for four consecutive years. It was also named among the Top 10 resort islands on Expedia’s Island Hot List 2026.

These natural assets, tourism services, and international reputation are now complemented by a new opportunity: Phu Quoc has been selected to host APEC 2027 Economic Leaders’ Week, which gather international leaders, delegates and guests for highlevel meetings, dialogues and exchanges.
