Hanoi Lights Up the Sky on National Day

 

Hanoi lit up in a spectacular fireworks display on the evening of September 2, 2026, as the capital celebrated the 81st National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

As night fell, large crowds of residents and visitors gathered across the city center, eagerly awaiting the special fireworks show marking the country's major national holiday. As the first fireworks soared into the sky, brilliant bursts of light illuminated Hanoi, following one another to create a dazzling spectacle against the night sky.

Thousands of people looked up and captured the memorable moments on their phones and cameras, while many families brought their children to join in the festive atmosphere. Cheers and applause filled the streets, blending with the red national flags lining the city, creating a lively yet deeply patriotic scene across the capital on National Day.

 

From central streets to designated viewing areas, the festive spirit spread throughout the city. The fireworks were not only a highlight of the National Day celebrations but also brought people together in moments of joy, sharing and national pride.

Under the brilliant night sky, Hanoi closed out September 2 with emotional and memorable scenes, marking another proud celebration of one of the country's most important national holidays.
