Raya Aidilfitri, also known as Eid al-Fitr, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. It is one of the most important celebrations in the Muslim calendar, bringing families and communities together in a spirit of gratitude, forgiveness, and solidarity.

For the Cham Muslim community, the festival is not only a religious occasion but also an opportunity to strengthen family ties and foster unity. People visit relatives and friends, exchange greetings and good wishes, help those in need, and put aside past disagreements to begin anew. These practices reflect the values of compassion, generosity, and mutual respect upheld by the community.

Through traditional rituals and cultural activities, the recreation introduced visitors to the Cham Muslims’ customs and way of life. It also provided an opportunity for people from different ethnic groups and backgrounds to learn about Islam and appreciate the cultural diversity of Viet Nam.

The event formed part of efforts to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of ethnic communities across the country. By bringing the Raya Aidilfitri celebration to the national village, the Cham Muslim community helped share its traditions with a wider audience while highlighting the role of cultural exchange in fostering understanding and solidarity among communities.
