80 Years of Independence, Freedom and Happiness
The National Achievements Exhibition (NAE), titled “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” is being held in Hanoi from August 28 to September 15, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2025) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2025). This is more than just a national-level event; it's a chance to honor the nation's glorious history and to spread a sense of pride and aspiration for Vietnam's rise in a new era.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the achievements of today are a result of the Party's leadership, the State's governance, and the Vietnamese people's spirit of solidarity and creativity. The exhibition is seen as a "living classroom" that helps the current generation understand the nation's origins, sacrifices, and achievements over the past 80 years.
A major highlight is the extensive use of modern technology like virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive touch screens. This allows visitors to do more than just observe; they can actively engage with the content, making the experience more dynamic and personal.
As part of the exhibition, several forums and specialized workshops are being held, such as "Applying Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Era". Art performances and fashion shows also contribute to a rich and engaging cultural and entertainment atmosphere. By connecting the past, present, and future, the exhibition not only reaffirms the nation's stature over its 80-year journey of preserving and promoting the values of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness but also asserts Vietnam's aspiration to build a prosperous, civilized, and powerful future, standing shoulder to shoulder with developed nations./.
