Transforming the Success of the Autumn Fair into Momentum for the Spring Fair

Marking the success of the inaugural Autumn Fair 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam has not only successfully organized a national-level economic and cultural event but has also unlocked new drivers for trade development, investment, and international exchange. He proposed organizing a Spring Fair as a natural continuation, where Vietnam’s spirit of creativity, cooperation, and aspiration to thrive will continue to spread widely in the new era.

The Milestone of the First Seasonal Fair

On the evening of November 3, at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Closing Ceremony of the first-ever Autumn Fair 2025. Concurrently, he launched a continued fundraising program to support compatriots in flood-affected regions, themed “Autumn of Hope – Sharing Love.”

Also attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, leaders from various ministries, sectors, and localities, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises.

Held from October 25 to November 4, the Autumn Fair 2025 launched a series of national-scale activities to promote trade, investment, and culture in the new era. With over 2,500 domestic and international organizations and businesses from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand, the European Union, and more, encompassing 3,000 booths, the fair became a hub for showcasing outstanding products across sectors, including industry, science-technology, cultural industries, agricultural products, food, e-commerce, and tourism.

The Fair set six impressive records: largest scale, most modern space, most diverse products, highest quality, most engaging activities, and best preferential policies. Over the 10 days, the event attracted more than 100,000 visitors daily, facilitated over 2,000 business matching sessions, secured more than 100 cooperation agreements, and resulted in nearly 5 trillion dong (about 190 million US dollars) in contracts and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).

In parallel with the exhibition, over 30 specialized conferences, seminars, forums, and festivals were organized, creating a vital connectivity space for culture, technology, and economy, and delivering a lively experience for visitors.

Responding to the call from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the Fair organizers launched a fundraiser to support people in the Central and Northern mountainous regions affected by storms and floods. To date, the organizers have received 316 billion dong (approximately about 12 million US dollars) in contributions through the "Autumn of Hope – Sharing Love" program.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the success of the inaugural Autumn Fair 2025 confirms that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive due to its scale and development speed, but is also a safe, friendly, promising, and appealing destination for international investors.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deep gratitude to the business community, citizens across the country, and international friends who have stood in solidarity and shared with the disaster-stricken communities. "That humanitarian spirit is the most beautiful manifestation of our national kinship and brotherhood, and it is the internal strength that helps Vietnam move further and more steadily," the Prime Minister emphasized.

According to the Prime Minister, under the theme "Connecting People with Production and Business," the first Autumn Fair 2025 was not merely a forum for investment and trade promotion but also a "substantive exchange floor," where people were placed at the center of all development activities.

He affirmed: "The Fair is a festival of creative technology and cultural arts - a place where economic development goes hand-in-hand with cultural, social, and human development".

The Prime Minister likened each booth to "a piece of Vietnamese culture," telling a story about its product, its locality, and its people - from high technology, green energy, and creative products to regional specialties. Many Vietnamese brands received high praise internationally, opening new export opportunities and contributing to enhancing the image of Vietnamese goods in the global market.

Affirming Vietnam's Dynamic and Friendly Stance

The Prime Minister stated that the success of the Autumn Fair 2025 affirmed that the Vietnamese market is attractive not only due to its scale and development speed but also as a safe, friendly, and promising destination for international investors.

The Fair symbolizes the spirit of solidarity, the aspiration for development, and confidence in a dynamic, creative, and forward-looking Vietnam. It also commends the efforts of ministries, sectors, localities, businesses, and citizens in organizing an "economic and cultural festival rich in national identity".

At the Closing Ceremony, the organizers of the inaugural Autumn Fair 2025 expressed gratitude and received donations supporting compatriots affected by storms, floods, and natural disasters in the Central and Northern mountainous regions, following the Prime Minister's call at the Fair's Opening Ceremony.

To build on this success, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade the lead role in developing a professional and modern annual Autumn Fair model, while also proposing a plan for organizing the inaugural Spring Fair 2026.

He called on ministries, sectors, localities, and businesses to translate the results of business matching into specific projects, expand cooperation, pursue sustainable development, and continue demonstrating social responsibility through support for disaster-hit regions.

The Prime Minister also appealed to international partners to continue accompanying Vietnam in investment, technology transfer, human resource training, and green development. He expressed confidence that these collaborative connections, creative ideas, and Vietnamese-imprinted products will continue to be cultivated, becoming new resources for the nation's growth and integration.
