Ninh Binh province is restructuring agricultural production by developing concentrated raw-material zones, strengthening supply chain linkages, and promoting the processing and consumption of agricultural products. These efforts are opening up new opportunities for the local agricultural sector.

Moving away from a traditional production-focused approach towards a multi-value agricultural economy, the province aims to make better use of its natural resources, improve product quality and added value, and increase incomes for farmers and other producers.

The new approach places greater emphasis on linking production with processing, distribution, tourism and market demand. By developing concentrated production areas and encouraging cooperation among farmers, cooperatives and businesses, Ninh Binh hopes to build more stable supply chains and improve the competitiveness of its agricultural products.

At the same time, the province is promoting environmentally friendly farming practices, efficient resource use and the application of science and technology in production. These efforts are expected to support the development of ecological and circular agriculture, reduce environmental impacts and make better use of agricultural by-products.

Through this shift, Ninh Binh seeks to create a more diversified, efficient and sustainable agricultural sector, generating greater economic value while improving livelihoods in rural areas.
