Spectacular fireworks illuminating the Han River have become one of Da Nang's signature attractions, drawing visitors from around the world. Under the theme "Da Nang - United Horizons," Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 continues to captivate audiences with dazzling displays of light, music and artistry while showcasing the city's vibrant energy, warm hospitality and global appeal.

DIFF 2026 features six nights of professional fireworks competitions, held every Saturday from May 30 to July 11. This year's festival brought together 10 teams from nine countries and territories, including Vietnam,China, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France, Japan, Macao (China) and Australia.

DIFF 2026 is one of the festival's strongest editions, bringing together some of the world's leading fireworks teams. Its inclusion on Travel + Leisure's list of the world's nine must-visit festivals has further elevated Da Nang as a premier summer destination. Throughout the festival, the city welcomed record numbers of domestic and international visitors, with hotel occupancy reaching near capacity, especially on competition nights.

After more than a month of spectacular competition, the grand finale took place on July 11, featuring a thrilling showdown between teams from China and Portugal. At the close of the competition, Portugal claimed the championship title, followed by China in second.

DIFF 2026 concluded with world-class performances that lit up the Han River, treating spectators to a spectacle of light and colors. Beyond its dazzling displays, the festival has strengthened Da Nang's reputation as a premier fireworks destination and an increasingly recognized hub for world-class festivals and events.
