Vietnam-Belarus strengthens economic cooperation

In Hanoi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Sidorsky and his Vietnamese counterpart Phan Van Khai, agreed upon measures to further accelerate bilateral trade and economic cooperation aimed at fully tapping the potentials of each country. nbsp;

In Hanoi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Sidorsky and his Vietnamese counterpart Phan Van Khai, agreed upon measures to further accelerate bilateral trade and economic cooperation aimed at fully tapping the potentials of each country.nbsp;

Belarus will cooperate with Vietnam to implement the joint ventures in assembling automobiles, motorbikes, mining equipment and tractors serving agricultural production, electronic circuits, training for students and experts, and export of potassium fertilizers to Vietnam. Vietnamese products of high value such as tea, rubber, aquatic products, footwear and garments will enjoy Belarus' preferential tax duties.nbsp;

The signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Vietnam State Bank and the Belarus Foreign Economic Bank and an agreement on cooperation between Hanoi and Minsk has provided favourable conditions and promoted bilateral cooperation and goods exchange aimed at surpassing the present two-way trade turnover of USD 30 million.nbsp;

The Belorussian Prime Minister was received by Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, President Tran Duc Luong and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;
