Simplicity Trend for Upcoming Fall/Winter

Vietnam Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2017 recently held in Hanoi featured 1,000 designs by 14 local designers with various themes and most of them are ready-to-wear collections.
After a summer season rooted in 1990s minimalism, the trend of winter 2017 will be a welcome shot of simplicity, practicality, which ensures the easiest and most comfortable clothing.

Haute Couture clothing was also a current interest from leading designers and the trend is likely to keep its momentum in the future, according to Vietnam’s popular designer Minh Hanh.

The event gathered well-known designers such as Cong Huan, Ngoc Han, Minh Hanh and Ha Duy, among others as well as new designers. Designer Cao Minh Tien will introduce a collection using two main colours like black and white combined with soft materials.

This annual event of the Vietnam fashion industry was an opportunity for designers to exchange their professional ideas and promote the Vietnam fashion industry into the integration process worldwide.

Within the framework of the programme, thousands of designs in the Fall-Winter collections were displayed and sold at the Vietnam’s Women Museum.
