Hanoi’s Security Forces on Parade Ahead of IPU-132 01/07/2021 On March 24, Hanoi’s Department of Public Security in collaboration with Hanoi’s Capital Command, Hanoi’s Department of Health and related forces held a parade for the forces in charge of protecting the 132nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (132) and other political events taking place in the capital during 2015. The ceremony began with a display of forces, vehicles and equipment of 16 vehicle groups representing forces involved in protection such as: ZAAM bulletproof vehicles, heavy armored vehicles, motorcade vehicles and communication vehicles. There were also maneuvers and qigong performances by mobile policemen. The ceremony showed the determination of forces in charge of the safety of international guests as well as participating senior officials of the Party and State. These forces are also responsible for maintaining traffic safety and order in the city to provide international guests with a good impression of Vietnam’s people and country.
