Vinasoy Brand Soya Milk

The Vietnam Soya Milk Products Company - VinaSoy is the first and only enterprise in Vietnam that specializes in producing soya milk products. Operating in this field for over 15 years, the company has taken the lead in the market in soya milk and now owns the largest soya milk producing factory.

VinaSoy was established in 1997 in Quang Ngai with the original name of Truong Xuan Milk Company. Like other companies at that time, VinaSoy specialized in and provided different milk products. However, when seeing the increasing demand of customers for user-friendly, safe food and beverages made from natural materials, VinaSoy shifted its business strategy to producing soya milk, becoming the first and only enterprises that specialized in soya milk products.

Thanks to its sound policy on building a trademark and creating distinctive features for its products to become the pioneer in the field, VinaSoy has produced FAMI brand soya milk that accounts for over 73% of the whole country’s market share with an average growth rate of 161% since 2003. The company’s success was affirmed when its products won several prestigious prizes, including the Southern Central Golden Star and the Vietnam Golden Star and made the list of the most famous 100 brand names of Vietnam.

In August 2012, VinaSoy’s factory started the construction in Bac Ninh Province with a total capital of 650 billion dong. It is expected to be put into operation in April 2013 with a capacity of 180 million litters of soya milk/year, increasing the company’s total annual soya milk productivity to over 300 million litres.
Over the years, the company has invested in both human and intellectual resources to build and develop the trademark. Since 2003, when trademarks were rather new to enterprises in the province, VinaSoy leaders early recognized the value of a trademark that had strong and direct impacts on customers’ decisions on selecting products. Therefore, they cooperated with Richard Moore Associates Inc. in the US to build a trademark in a professional way. In 2005, Truong Xuan Milk Company was officially renamed Vinasoy with its logo designed by the Richard Moore Company that shows the products’ natural origin and the connectivity between the intelligence and creativeness of the whole company’s staff.

Apart from investing in a trademark, the company has continually made efforts to develop technology and human resources to improve the quality of products. It invested in a modern, automatic production line from Sweden and new technology that created a breakthrough in the product’s quality that helps preserve the natural flavour as well as nutrition facts of soybeans without using preservatives.

The company has also strictly complied with advanced management systems, meeting internal standards, such as ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP. Therefore, its products always ensure food hygiene and safety and have gained trust from customers. Thanks to meeting these criteria, Vinasoy has been selected by the US Department of Agriculture as the only soya milk provider of many schools under the “School Nutrition Programme in Vietnam” since 2002. At present, VinaSoy boasts two brands with four different products and is the first soya milk factory of Vietnam in the list of five top largest soya milk factories in the world.

To further promote its trademark, VinaSoy has also participated in many community and charitable activities, such as funding programmes on raising money for needy people, disabled children and Agent Orange victims that has left a strong impression on customers about a trademark for the community’s health.
