Vietnam's First Fetal Intervention Using FETO Technique

Doctors at the Center for Fetal Medicine, National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology, successfully performed the first fetal intervention using the FETO technique in Vietnam.

This amnioscopic technique temporarily blocks the fetal trachea to treat severe congenital diaphragmatic hernia, opening up greater treatment opportunities for fetuses right from the womb.
