Alongside other traditional and contemporary art forms, tuong (classical Vietnamese opera) is enriching Hanoi’s nighttime cultural experiences. Through the performance Moc Que Anh Dang Cay (Moc Que Anh Offers the Tree), young audiences and foreign visitors can enjoy the art while exploring its distinctive makeup, costumes and props, interacting with performers and trying out traditional Tuong movements.
This approach is bringing traditional theater closer to the public while opening new opportunities to promote cultural heritage through tourism and support Hanoi’s cultural industries and nighttime economy.
