The Beauty of Vietnamese Women through Dang Kim Phuong’s Lens

Vietnam Pictorial’s photojournalist Dang Kim Phuong recently made public 45 of her photographs highlighting the simple beauty of  Vietnamese women; their brilliance, pureness, motherliness, their hardships, sacrifices and resilience in the face of many difficulties in their daily lives through her private collection entitled  “The Beauty of Women”.
Over the past ten years, she has travelled to every corner of the country to capture many beautiful images of the country and especially the women with whom she met and talked.

The exhibition attracts a large number of visitors.
 
Visiting the exhibition which marked a milestone in her career, viewers are fascinated by the charm of Vietnamese women in  all parts of the country. They are dancers  in the traditional long dress performing at the millennial anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, ethnic women in the Northwestern region with their joy of having a bumper corn crop, industrious and dynamic female workers in the garment and textile sector and a wife sewing a fishing net for her husband in the Central Region.

According to Dang Kim Phuong, the beauty of women is reflected through both their appearance and character. They not only perform well their duties as a wife and a mother at home but also in accomplishing their social tasks.

The exhibition sponsored by Media & Travel NBC took place on January 2 - 10, 2016 at Cam Binh Resort, La Gi Town, Binh Thuan Province. All works displayed at the exhibition will be sold by auction to raise a charitable fund for local women who face difficulties in their lives.
