Human resources trained under the programme are expected to contribute to economic growth in ASEAN+3 and establish a tertiary education framework in Asia.

The programme in Hanoi involve 12 students from HUST and 16 students from Niigata University, who worked in groups to learn about operations of two Japanese enterprises in Vietnam, vision and challenges facing them when expanding abroad.

Experts from HUST and Niigata University presented in-depth studies on science-tech education amid globalisation.

Participating students gave suggestions about vision for foreign companies in Vietnam, opportunities and challenges in business expansion, among others.
