Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung has urged the Ministry of Transport to push forward with the expansion project of Noi Bai International Airport to meet the rising demand.

The Ministry of Transport is instructed to work with consultants agencies to review the development strategy for Noi Bai International Airport to 2030, with the vision to 2050. The plan also revises the upgrading of Noi Bai International Airport passenger capacity to 50 million passengers per year and and a third runway facing towards the south to ensure the capacity of 80-100 million passengers/ year in 2050.
