Making news No new COVID-19 infections in community for 11 consecutive days 27/04/2020 As of 6am on April 27 there was no new infection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Vietnam, marking the 11th day in a row the country has seen no new COVID-19 cases through community infection, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said. The number of COVID-19 cases in the country remained at 270, with 225 having recovered and no death. A total of 52,428 people are under quarantine or health monitoring across the country, including 323 at hospitals, 11,311 in other facilities and the remaining at home or accommodations.
