Kim Dinh Green Energy Joint-Stock Company

Because the world is paying great attention to the issue of energy saving, Kim Dinh Green Energy Joint Stock Company (KIDI - Green Energy) has established a factory manufacturing LED light bulbs that can save up to 80% of power consumption. This is considered a breakthrough solution in the energy sector of Vietnam.
Situated in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, the FawooKidi Technology building, where LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs of Kim Dinh Green Energy Company are manufactured and assembled, looks normal. But inside the building there is a specialized modern and closed production line of LED bulbs with state-of-the-art technology transferred by Fawoo Technology, a leading LED lightbulb manufacturer in South Korea.
LED is a technology that has changed the lives of millions of people. Compared with traditional lighting devices, LED lightbulbs operate more stably, cause no harm to the eyes, reduce the risk of fires and explosions, are environmentally friendly and energy-saving and have a life-span of up to 50,000 hours.

Le Dinh Trong, Chairman of Kim Dinh Company’s Management Board led us and a Cuban scientific delegation on a visit to the factory. He introduced different categories of LED lightbulbs of a new-generation manufactured by the factory and said that besides interior and decorative lightbulbs Kim Dinh company also produced specialized LED lightbulbs which have high durability and good resistance to breakage. They are very suitable for public works such as roads, bridges, tunnels, trenches and ships.
Holding a bulb in his hand, Fidel Castro Diaz Balart, a scientific advisor to the Cuban State Council and President Raul Castro, could not hide his surprise. He said: “Unexpectedly, Vietnam can manufacture such high-tech products. These bulbs are efficient in lighting, electricity-saving and very environmentally friendly.”
Special attention was paid to the specialized lights for fishing boats at sea. Dinh said: “Generally, a fishing boat uses 60 1000W bulbs and consumes about 200 liters of oil to run the electric generator. If the 80W LED bulbs are used, they have similar luminosity, are durable and do not cause burns because they have no ultraviolet light, and only 25 liters of oil are consumed. This is an issue that a nation with a powerful fleet of hundreds of thousands of fishing boats like Vietnam must take account of.”
During a recent visit to the factory of Kim Dinh Company, Professor Nguyen Van Hieu, former President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, said: “This technology brings great benefits to our country. We must make the society and consumers aware that using LED lights will save energy, reduce the costs of building more power plants and at the same time protect our environment.”

LED lightbulbs are suitable for offices and trade areas.

The first high-tech LED lightbulbs manufactured by Kim Dinh Company have been used in many great projects and buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, such as the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, High-Tech Park, Vinamilk Company and Vincom Center.
Seeing the roads and projects which are radiant in the soft white light of the LED bulbs, we can be confident that in the near future, Kim Dinh Company will successfully build its brand, known as “LED Viet”, making a great contribution to the energy-saving strategy of the country.
