Half a century has passed since Saigon-Gia Dinh was renamed Ho Chi Minh City in honour of President Ho Chi Minh. Today, the city has not only maintained its role as Vietnam's economic powerhouse but has also gradually established itself as a regional hub for finance, industry and innovation.
